Correspondence between program transmission speed and PLC programming tool

When the following interfaces are used between FX3U/FX3UC programmable controller and GX Development (Ver.8.13P or above), the program can be written/read and monitored at high speed (115.2 kbps).

FX-30P can communicate with FX3U/FX3UC programmable controller at high speed (115.2 kbps).

1) Built-in programming port and RS-422 function expansion board with model FX3U-422-BD, using RS-232/RS-422 converter with model FX-232AWC-H, or USB/RS-422 converter with model FX-USB-AW

When connecting

2) RS-232C function expansion board with model FX3U-232-BD

3) Special adapter for RS-232C with model FX3U-232ADP (- MB)

4) Function expansion board for USB with model FX3U-USB-BD

When the following interfaces are used between FX3G programmable controller and GX Developer (Ver.8.72A or above), the program can be written/read, monitored, etc. at high speed (115.2 kbps).

FX-30P can communicate with FX3G programmable controller at high speed (115.2kbps).

1) Built-in programming port (RS-422) and RS-422 function expansion board with model FX3G – 422-BD or RS-232C/RS-422 converter with model FX-232AWC-H

2) RS-232C function expansion board with model FX3G-232-BD

3) Special adapter for RS-232C with model FX3U-232ADP (- MB)

9600bps or 19200bps is used for communication in non-corresponding programming software.

In addition, the communication speed of GX Developer is set at the following locations.

Double-click the [Serial] icon under [On line] → [Transfer setup] → [PC side I/F] to set
