The 1336-BDB-SP45D is a PCB gate drive board for AC drives manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This PCB gate drive board is intended to be used only with 460 Volts AC rated AC drives with 400 Horsepower output ratings. That means that this board is only compatible with “D” frame-sized 1336 series AC drives. In some catalogs, this part will be denoted as the 74101-169-84. Spare part kits with the 1336-BDB-SP45A and 1336-BDB-SP45C order codes are older versions of this spare part kit and they can be replaced with the 1336-BDB-SP45D spare part.

The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP45D mainly has a role in amplifying the control signals on 1336 series AC drives. In these output power control applications, this electrical component tries to find the simplest way of driving the gate-switching transistors and to employ the gate drive output of the PWM controlled signal.
