·The 1771-OBDS digital output module is a current limiting type of output module that operates on DC voltage. It has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in the PLC 5 series. The 1771-OBDS current limiting digital output module has 16 outputs, its voltage category is 10 to 60 Volts DC, and its operating voltage range is 10 to 40 Volts DC. This digital output module does not have an enclosure, but it does have a conformal coating for protection against corrosion and liquids. The 1771-OBDS current limiting digital output module is designed to be immune to ESD or electrostatic discharge, and it can withstand 4 kilovolts of contact discharge and 8 kilovolts of air discharge.
