6.1 Installation Requirements

6.1.1 Environmental Conditions

• Ambient Temperature: 0-55°C (standard operating range); -40-70°C (extended temperature range)
• Humidity: 5%-95% (non-condensing)
• Installation environment: Keep away from strong electromagnetic interference, corrosive gas and heavy dust environments to ensure stable operation

6.1.2 Installation Steps

1. Fix the PLC base on the control cabinet or standard installation guide rail firmly.
2. Vertically insert the PM590-ARCNET CPU module into the base slot in place.
3. Fasten the module with fixing screws to avoid loosening caused by vibration.
4. Complete the connection of power supply lines, communication cables and I/O wiring as required.

6.1.3 Wiring Specifications

• Power Wiring: Correctly connect the positive and negative poles of the 24VDC power supply to avoid reverse connection damage.
• ARCNET Network Wiring: Adopt a standard bus topology for network layout.
• Serial Interface Wiring: Follow industry standard specifications for RS232/485 interface wiring to ensure normal data communication.
