Bently Nevada 3500/15 106M1079-01 (referred to as “106M1079-01″ for short) is a universal AC power supply module specifically designed for the Bently Nevada 3500 series vibration monitoring system. As the “energy center” of the system, it provides stable and reliable power supply for various measurement, control and display modules in the rack.

2. Structure and Composition
- Half-height module design: Adopting an industrial-grade modular structure, it is usually installed in the designated slot on the left side of the rack. The rack can accommodate one or two such power modules to achieve a main-standby power supply configuration.
- Power conversion core: It internally includes efficient rectification, filtering and voltage stabilization circuits, which can handle a wide range of input voltages and output stable 24VDC power.
- Protection and monitoring circuits: Equipped with overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature and reverse polarity protection functions, and built-in status indicators or digital interfaces for on-site monitoring of power supply health status.

5. Installation and Maintenance
Installation:
- Confirm the designated slot on the left side of the rack (usually a hot-swappable slot).
- Push the module into the rack to ensure the buckle is tightly locked.
- Connect the power cord and ground wire, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes.
Maintenance:
- Regular inspection: Check the tightness of the module’s shell to ensure no dust or corrosives enter.
- Status monitoring: Monitor the voltage, current and temperature curves of the power supply through Bently Nevada system software, and replace abnormal modules in a timely manner.
- Replacement: When the module indicator alarms or the output voltage fluctuates abnormally, pull out and replace it as soon as possible. Due to the hot-swappable design, it can usually be replaced directly while the system is running without affecting the work of other modules.
