Installation & Maintenance Guidelines

• Power Wiring: Use a 24 V DC regulated power supply. Ensure power cables comply with IEC 60320 standards to prevent system interference caused by voltage fluctuations.
• Grounding & Shielding: The housing must be reliably grounded. It is advisable to use shielded cables for signal lines of USB and serial interfaces to reduce electromagnetic interference.
• Protection Inspection: Regularly check the front panel’s sealing gasket to maintain complete IP65 protection. Ensure the rear panel retains IP20 protection after module assembly to prevent dust ingress.
• Firmware Upgrade: Perform firmware updates via B&R Automation Studio or a web interface. Back up the current configuration before upgrading.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Wipe the display surface gently with a soft dry cloth or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using strong acid or alkaline cleaners to prevent damage to the screen and touch layer.
