6. Installation and Maintenance Points

Installation

1. Insert the card into the corresponding slot of the I/O carrier board (e.g., VE-4000 series) that complies with DeltaV Series 2 specifications.
2. Confirm that the chassis power supply is 24V DC and that the power capacity meets the power consumption requirements of all cards.
3. Use screw terminals to connect on-site signal wires to the corresponding NO/NC terminals, ensuring clear wire sequence.

Debugging

1. Identify the card number (KJ3203X1-BA1) in the DeltaV Control Station software and perform channel mapping.
2. Configure NO/NC, set debounce time, and adjust fault diagnosis thresholds via software.

Maintenance

1. Regularly check the tightness of terminals to prevent loosening caused by vibration.
2. Use the system’s built-in “short-circuit/open-circuit detection” function to quickly locate fault points.
3. If replacement is needed, the card supports hot swapping and can be replaced while the system is running without affecting other modules.
