System Structure
The baseplate forms the mechanical and electrical foundation of the PLC rack. The power supply is installed in the left-side dedicated position, while Slot 1 accepts a CPU or compatible specialty module. Slots 2 through 5 can accommodate I/O or option modules.
A 25-pin D-type female connector on the right side provides the interface for expansion connections. When an expansion baseplate is used, the total cable distance between the baseplates is limited to 50 feet (15 meters).
