3.1 Core Protection Functions
Transformer Differential Protection (87T): Equipped with fast low-impedance differential protection function. It can automatically match CT ratios and compensate vector groups, applicable to multi-circuit breaker configurations with up to six restrained CT inputs. The differential protection integrates second harmonic and waveform blocking functions to avoid false tripping caused by CT saturation and transformer inrush current; it also adopts fifth harmonic blocking logic to prevent tripping triggered by transformer over-excitation.
Overcurrent Protection: Supports definite-time and inverse-time overcurrent protection, covering three-stage overcurrent protection, negative-sequence overcurrent protection and other sub-functions.
Earth Fault Protection: Built with low-impedance earth fault protection (REFPDIF) and high-sensitivity zero-sequence current protection.
Distance Protection: Supports three-stage distance protection, directional impedance elements and Mho impedance supervision logic.
Voltage & Frequency Protection: Realizes overvoltage, undervoltage, over-frequency and under-frequency protection functions.
Over-excitation Protection: Provides real-time monitoring and protection against transformer over-excitation faults.
