Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
Installation
- Turn off the PLC power supply, insert the NINT‑71C into the corresponding I/O slot, and ensure the latch is securely locked.
- Connect the 24 V DC power supply and signal lines to the module’s power terminals and respective input terminals according to the wiring diagram.
- If a protective housing is used, complete the sealing treatment on-site to ensure the required protection class.
Commissioning
- Add the module model in the PLC programming software (e.g., ABB Automation Builder), and the corresponding I/O addresses will be generated automatically.
- Check the status of each input channel through the online monitoring function to confirm normal signal acquisition.
Maintenance
- Regularly inspect terminal connections to prevent loosening or corrosion.
- For high-frequency switching inputs, appropriately install debounce capacitors or filter circuits.
- In case of faults, use the hot-swappable feature to replace the module quickly, and then re-map the address in the software.
