Equipped with 4096 kB dedicated user program storage space and 4 GB flash memory, which is used for long-term data logging and data backup, effectively ensuring industrial data security and integrity.

Built-in Web server realizes remote equipment monitoring and online maintenance. It supports the IEC 60870-5-104 remote control protocol and is compatible with multiple fieldbus expansion protocols, including PROFIBUS-DP, PROFINET, EtherCAT and more, delivering flexible communication compatibility for diverse industrial scenarios.

The centralized expansion mode supports up to 10 S500 series I/O modules. It can process a maximum of 320 digital I/O points or 160 analog I/O points. In addition, it allows simultaneous operation of 4 external communication modules with arbitrary combination configurations.

Configured with an LCD display and 8 functional keys for convenient system status diagnosis and real-time information display. It supports SD card storage for easy program backup and data logging. The module can be configured as a CANopen slave station when matched with the CM588-CN-XC coupler.
