3. Product Features
Integrated Design: The module is internally connected to the lower terminals of Emax circuit breakers, eliminating the need for external wiring or additional voltage transformers, which simplifies on-site installation and wiring work.
Multi-functional Protection: It supports a full range of protection functions, including undervoltage protection, overvoltage protection, residual voltage protection, reverse power protection, underfrequency protection, and overfrequency protection. All protection functions can be enabled or disabled flexibly according to actual application requirements.
Self-powered Operation: When the circuit breaker is in the closed state, all protection functions can operate normally under self-powered condition without external power supply intervention.
Power-off Monitoring: When the circuit breaker is open, the protection functions can continue to operate with the support of an auxiliary power supply (24V DC or PR120/V power supply). Meanwhile, the circuit breaker will display an “ALARM” status to remind users of abnormal conditions.
Sealed Structure Design: Equipped with a sealed insulated test switch, which effectively avoids dust and moisture interference, facilitates daily maintenance and functional testing, and improves equipment stability and safety.
Flexible Expansion Performance: The voltage sampler can be connected to other monitoring points through alternative connection of the terminal box, realizing flexible signal acquisition and adapting to diverse on-site wiring scenarios.

5. Application Fields
Emax Frame Circuit Breaker Matching: Compatible with multiple Emax series models including E1, E2, E3, E4, E6 and X1, with a maximum frame current of up to 6300A, covering medium and large current power distribution scenarios.
Low-voltage Power Distribution System: Applicable to AC low-voltage power distribution systems with a voltage up to 1150V AC, meeting the voltage monitoring and protection demands of industrial and civil power distribution systems.
Industrial Scenarios: Widely used in motor control and protection, factory power distribution network operation monitoring, industrial equipment power supply protection and other industrial production links.
Remote Monitoring Scenarios: Ideal for application scenarios that require remote data monitoring and equipment management via Modbus wired communication or wireless communication modes.
6. Installation and Maintenance
6.1 Installation Requirements
Installation Position: The module shall be installed at the lower terminals of the Emax frame circuit breaker to ensure stable wiring and accurate signal acquisition.
Voltage Transformer Configuration: For systems with a rated voltage higher than 690V, a dedicated voltage transformer is mandatory. The transformer shall have a load capacity of 10VA and an accuracy class of 0.5 or higher to guarantee measurement accuracy.
Alternative Connection Mode: To adapt to complex on-site wiring conditions, the voltage sampler can be connected to other monitoring points through the alternative wiring interface of the terminal box.
6.2 Maintenance Specifications
Daily Inspection: Regularly check the status of LED alarm and pre-alarm indicators to timely discover potential equipment faults and abnormal operating conditions.
Functional Testing: Cooperate with the PR010/T test equipment to regularly test the module’s input and output performance, protection threshold and trigger response time to ensure stable and reliable functional operation.
Temperature Monitoring: Pay real-time attention to the temperature rise of the trip unit. The limit temperature rise electromagnetic indicator will automatically reset when the temperature drops below 70℃ to ensure equipment operation within a safe temperature range.
Regular Maintenance: Conduct periodic inspection, maintenance and performance calibration in strict accordance with the maintenance specifications of ABB low-voltage air circuit breakers to extend the service life of the module and ensure long-term stable operation.
