    3. Product Features

    • High Breaking Capacity: Breaking current up to 10 kA, suitable for heavy-load starting and short-circuit protection scenarios.
    • Bipolar Design: Equipped with auxiliary contacts for synchronized open/close signal output, facilitating interlocking with PLCs or protection relays.
    • Durability: Adopts wear-resistant copper alloy contacts and an arc quenching system design, ensuring long service life for high-frequency operations at 10 kA level.
    • Compact Structure: Type B three-phase four-wire structure with small space occupation, suitable for standard DIN rail or PCB panel mounting.
    • Protection Class: Although the main body is usually IP20, an optional IP65 terminal box or protective cover is available to adapt to harsh environments.
    • Standardization: Complies with IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and IEC 60947-5-1 standards, enabling global universal use.

    4. Structure and Components

    • Contacts: Includes main contacts (3P4W) and auxiliary contacts (1P1W). Main contacts are responsible for high-current switching, while auxiliary contacts are used for signal feedback.
    • Coil: Generates a magnetic field to drive armature movement when energized. Usually uses power resistors or power inductor heating elements.
    • Armature: Moves under the action of the magnetic field to realize contact closing/opening.
    • Spring: Returns to the original position when the coil is de-energized.
    • Terminal Box: Connects power supply, load, and auxiliary circuits (optional IP65 protection).
    • Cover: Prevents accidental contact; some models are equipped with a transparent protective window.

    5. Typical Application Fields

    Industry
    Specific Applications
    Power Systems
Generator set starting, transformer tap changers, main distribution cabinet switches
    Industrial Automation
High-power motor starting (e.g., compressors, fans), conveyors, hydraulic pumps
    Building Infrastructure
Elevator control panels, HVAC main units
    Mining and Metallurgy
Mine water pumps, smelting furnace motors, crushers
    Marine and Aviation
Ship propulsion motors, aviation ground support equipment (e.g., boarding bridges)

    6. Installation and Maintenance

    6.1 Installation

    • Mounting: Secure the contactor base to the distribution cabinet wall or bracket with bolts, ensuring it is horizontal.
    • Wiring:

Protection: In humid or dusty environments, an IP65 terminal box or protective cover must be installed.

      • Main contacts: Use L1‑L2‑L3 for input and T1‑T2‑T3 for output.
      • Auxiliary contacts: Normally open (NO) terminals are marked as NO, normally closed (NC) terminals as NC, and common terminals as COM.
      • Coil: Connect to the terminal corresponding to the voltage (e.g., 24 V, 115 V), and pay attention to polarity distinction.

    6.2 Commissioning

    • Check the correctness of all wiring and confirm no short circuits before power-on.
    • Use a multimeter or clamp meter to check if the coil resistance is within the rated range (typically 100 Ω – 500 Ω).
    • After energization, use a multimeter to check the voltage switching between COM and NO/NC.

    6.3 Maintenance

    • Regular Inspection: Every 6 months or after 1000 operations, check the contact surface for ablation, welding, or carbon deposition.
    • Cleaning: Use a dry cotton swab or compressed air to clean dust on the contacts.
    • Tightening: Check if bolts are loose to prevent falling off due to vibration.
    • Replacement: If the contacts are burned or the coil resistance is abnormal (significantly increased), replace them in a timely manner.
