Bently Nevada TK-3E
The TK-3E is a portable calibrator specifically designed by Bently Nevada for on-site use. It is used to perform performance verification and calibration of proximity sensors, vibration sensors, and displacement sensors in Bently monitoring systems (such as the 3500 Series and 1900 Series).
By simulating the vibration and position signals of the shaft, it verifies the accuracy of the monitor’s readings, ensures the sensor system is in good condition, and prevents false alarms or missed alarms caused by reading deviations.

Installation and Maintenance Guide
Installation Steps
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord according to the local voltage (95-125V or 190-250V) and ensure the power frequency matches (50/60Hz).
- Probe Installation: Install the proximity sensor to be calibrated on the universal probe bracket, ensuring the probe tip is vertically aligned with the detection surface.
- Parameter Setting: Set the corresponding amplitude or displacement parameters on the instrument according to the specifications of the sensor to be calibrated (such as the rated amplitude range).

On-Site Calibration Process
Vibration Calibration:
- Start the instrument’s motor drive to make the pivotal plate vibrate at a fixed frequency.
- The instrument will generate a known vibration signal (e.g., 50μm), and read the output reading of the monitor at this time.
- Compare the actual reading with the standard reading, and adjust the calibration coefficient of the monitor if there is a deviation.
Position Calibration:
- Use the micrometer assembly to slowly rotate the shaft, so that the distance detected by the probe gradually changes from “far” to “near”.
- Record the voltage change during this process and compare it with the displacement reading displayed by the monitor.
