6. Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
- Mounting Orientation: Supports both horizontal and vertical mounting. Ensure unobstructed heat dissipation channels when installed vertically.
- Environmental Requirements: Operating temperature ranges from -25 °C to 50 °C (vertical) or -25 °C to 55 °C (horizontal); relative humidity 5% – 95% (non-condensing); compliant with IP20 protection class.
- Power Connection: Use a 24 V DC power supply, ensuring the current does not exceed 1.5 A. The internal fuse is non-replaceable.
- Wiring and Cabling: Ethernet and POWERLINK use shielded RJ45 interfaces, with a maximum link length of 100 m.
- Module Replacement: Insert or remove expansion slot modules only when the power is off. The system will automatically detect the module and display its status via the diagnostic LEDs.
- Regular Inspection: It is recommended to inspect power terminals, interface connections and heat sink cleanliness every 6 months to ensure long-term reliable operation.
