Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation
- Turn off the power of the control cabinet and confirm that the backplane is powered off.
- Align the card with the backplane slot, push it gently until the buckle is locked, and ensure that the pins are in full contact.
- Connect the on-site signal lines (digital or analog) and select the corresponding terminal blocks according to the voltage level.
- After restoring power, check the indicator lights to confirm that the power supply and communication are normal.
Debugging
- Use GE Proficy Automation Engine or RSLogix 5000 for I/O address mapping and parameter configuration.
- Check the input signal status, output response and fault alarm through the online monitoring function.
Daily Maintenance
- Regularly check the tightness of the terminal blocks to prevent loosening caused by vibration.
- Remove dust and corrosive substances on the surface of the card to maintain good heat dissipation.
- If the fault light is on, first check the power supply and backplane connection, and replace the corresponding sub-module or the entire card if necessary.
Replacement and Upgrade
- Adopting a hot-swappable design, faulty sub-modules can be replaced while the system is running, minimizing downtime.
