GE IC695ACC400
Overview
The GE IC695ACC400 is a CPU energy pack module specifically designed for the RX3i platform. It is used to provide power to the CPU when the system is powered off, enabling it to write the contents of user memory into non-volatile memory (such as Flash memory), thereby preventing data loss and system failures. This module is compatible with RX3i CPE305 and CPE310 controllers and is connected to the CPU via the IC695CBL001 cable.
Parameters
Compatibility: Only compatible with RX3i CPE305 and CPE310 controllers.
Function: Provides temporary power in case of power failure to ensure the CPU can save user data to non-volatile memory.
Installation location: Installed on the left side of the RX3i module, usually in rack slot 0 to avoid occupying backplane slots.
Physical dimensions: 140 mm (height) × 124 mm (depth) × 25.4 mm (width).
Operating temperature: 0-50 degrees Celsius, with a typical expected lifespan of more than 10 years; at 60 degrees Celsius, the expected lifespan decreases to 4.5 years.
Connector type: Samtec PID1-040D-K.
Cable specifications: IC695CBL001 cable, available in lengths of 3 meters or 0.91 meters, with conductors made of tinned copper, insulation layer of PVC, and a voltage rating of 300 VAC.
Product Features
Data protection: In case of power failure, it provides sufficient power for the CPU to write user data into non-volatile memory, preventing data loss.
Status indication: Provides indications of charging status, fault, low capacitance, and fully charged status, facilitating user monitoring and diagnosis.
Safety design: Complies with the EU RoHS directives 2002/95/EC and 2011/65/EU, ensuring environmental protection and safety standards.
Durability: Manufactured with high-quality materials, such as nylon 66 crimp housing and gold-plated contacts, ensuring long-term stable operation.
Structure and Composition
Module structure: The module is installed on the left side of the RX3i module and connected to the CPU via the IC695CBL001 cable.
Connectors: The module has two connectors, one for connecting to the upstream or CPU module, and the other for connecting in series to an additional expansion rack.
LED indicators: Three green LED lights are used to indicate the module status, rack activity status, and the presence of an I/O bus terminator.
Application Fields
Industrial automation: Widely used in industrial automation control systems, especially in scenarios requiring high reliability and data protection.
Energy industry: Used in control systems of energy-intensive industries such as hydropower plants, steel plants, and cement plants.
Manufacturing industry: Suitable for fields such as numerical control machinery, metallurgy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, papermaking and printing, textile dyeing and finishing, machinery, electronics manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, tobacco, plastic machinery, electric power, water conservancy, water treatment/environmental protection, municipal engineering, boiler heating, energy, power transmission and distribution, etc.
Installation and Maintenance
Installation steps:
Hook the top mounting hook on the Energy Pack module frame.
Rotate the bottom of the Energy Pack into place so that the bottom hook makes contact.
Connect the bottom connector of the Energy Pack to the corresponding connector at the bottom of the CPU.
Safety precautions:
When installing in hazardous areas, the equipment must be installed in an enclosure with a protection level of IP54 or higher.
When replacing or repairing, the power must be turned off first to prevent the risk of explosion.
Maintenance recommendations:
Regularly check the connection status of connectors and cables to ensure good contact.
Monitor the status of LED indicators to detect and handle faults in a timely manner.
Follow the manufacturer’s replacement plan and replace the Energy Pack regularly to ensure the reliability of the system.
