    The module is connected to the base through gold – finger connectors at the rear. It obtains working power from the base and exchanges data with the backplane bus.     Preparation Before Installation

Operators should wear anti – static wristbands to prevent electrostatic discharge from damaging the precision electronic components on the module. Be sure to confirm that the model label of the module is completely consistent with the required spare parts.

    During regular inspections, pay attention to observing whether the status indicator lights on the module panel display normally. It is recommended to use HIMA’s dedicated diagnostic software to regularly check the health status of the module and channel diagnostic information for preventive maintenance. When the module needs to be replaced, be sure to unlock the red front handle of the module first, then pull it out smoothly from the base. When inserting a new module, align it with the base guide rail and push it in firmly until a click is heard to ensure that the connector is fully in contact. After replacing the module, confirm that its status has returned to normal in the system.
