The front panel integrates a wealth of status indicators (LEDs) to clearly display the module’s operating status, fault information, and the activity of each I/O channel. Inside, it integrates a highly integrated circuit board, with two microprocessors that monitor each other and perform parallel operations as the core. These microprocessors run safety firmware certified by TÜV, and realize fault detection through comparison and voting mechanisms. The board also integrates power conditioning circuits, which convert the wide-range external 24VDC input into the operating voltage required by internal components. The 8-channel digital input and 4-channel digital output circuits all adopt photoelectric isolation technology to ensure complete electrical isolation between on-site signals and internal core circuits, improving anti-interference ability and system safety. The two Ethernet ports are used for system configuration, communication with HMI/SCADA, and building a safe HIMatrix network with other safety controllers.

The module supports comprehensive online diagnosis functions, which can accurately report internal and external faults (such as on-site line short circuit/open circuit) and quickly locate problems through LED indicators. These features significantly shorten the debugging and fault troubleshooting time and reduce the life-cycle maintenance cost.
