1. Overview
HIMA F8650E is a core component of HIMA safety systems, designed to build high-safety process control systems. It is widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, electric power, and pharmaceuticals. Its core functions include executing safety logic, processing input signals, and controlling output actions to ensure the system shuts down safely or transitions to a safe state. This module complies with the IEC 61508 standard, achieves the SIL 3 safety level, and is equipped with redundant design and fault tolerance capabilities.
2. Parameters
- Processor and Memory: Adopts a dual-CPU redundant architecture, equipped with two 25MHz 386EX processors, and is provided with 1MB flash memory and 1MB SRAM.
- Interface and Communication: Supports 16 channels of digital input, 8 channels of digital output, 2 channels of analog input, dual RS485 and Ethernet interfaces, and is compatible with protocols such as PROFIBUS DP and Modbus TCP/IP.
- Environment and Power Supply: The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 70℃ (some data shows 0-85℃), the power input is 24V DC±5%, and the protection level is IP20/IP65.
