6. Installation and Maintenance
6.1 Installation Environment Requirements
- The module shall be installed inside a closed equipment with IP54 protection grade to avoid external environmental interference.
- Applicable to anti-static environments such as concrete or wooden floors.
- In static-prone environments, staff shall touch grounded objects for static discharge before contacting the equipment to prevent static damage to the module.
6.2 Installation Method
- Standard DIN rail mounting is adopted for quick and fixed installation.
- A maximum of 8 I/O modules and optional functional modules can be installed per rack.
- A single VersaMax PLC or VersaMax I/O station can be equipped with up to 8 racks in total.
