6. Installation and Maintenance

6.1 Installation Environment Requirements

The module shall be installed inside a closed equipment with IP54 protection grade to avoid external environmental interference.
Applicable to anti-static environments such as concrete or wooden floors.
In static-prone environments, staff shall touch grounded objects for static discharge before contacting the equipment to prevent static damage to the module.

6.2 Installation Method

Standard DIN rail mounting is adopted for quick and fixed installation.
A maximum of 8 I/O modules and optional functional modules can be installed per rack.
A single VersaMax PLC or VersaMax I/O station can be equipped with up to 8 racks in total.
