The PLX82-EIP-PNC is a dedicated gateway from ProSoft Technology’s ProLinx series. It acts as a “protocol translator” between an EtherNet/IP Server and a PROFINET Controller, enabling seamless communication between these two major industrial protocols.
Core Function:Converts I/O data between EtherNet/IP controllers (such as Rockwell Automation PLCs) and PROFINET controllers, allowing bidirectional data exchange.
Typical Applications:Solving interoperability issues between devices from different manufacturers, enabling cross-platform data sharing and control.

Installation Steps
Mount the Device
Install the unit on a DIN rail inside the control cabinet.
Connect Power
Supply 24 VDC (10–36 VDC compatible).
Connect Networks
Use the two Ethernet ports to connect the EtherNet/IP and PROFINET networks.
Configure Network Settings
Set IP address, subnet mask, and gateway via ProSoft FDT Configuration Manager or the device panel.
It is recommended to place both ports in the same subnet for easier management.
Download Firmware
Use ProSoft Configuration Builder to update firmware.Always use the latest firmware version for optimal performance.
