Introduction
The XVME‑240 is a 6U double‑slot VME‑bus digital I/O module manufactured by XYCOM. It provides 80 TTL‑level I/O channels (8 groups of 10‑bit ports) and is suitable for high‑speed data acquisition and control systems.

It enables the input, output and status flagging of multi‑channel digital signals. It also supports the hardware offloading of time‑consuming tasks such as counting and timing for the host CPU.

Installation and Maintenance
Installation

Configuration
Load the corresponding firmware or driver through the VME‑bus host software to complete the parameter settings such as I/O direction and flag bits.
Maintenance
Regularly check the contact status of the terminal blocks and the dust cover. In case of a fault, use the VME‑bus self‑test function to locate the faulty card. Always power off before replacing the module.
