- Multiple Pole Options: Three-pole and four-pole versions available to meet single-phase, three-phase, and neutral line protection needs.
- International Standard Compliance: Certified by IEC, UL, EN, etc., meeting unified technical requirements for global markets.
Structure and Composition
- Enclosure: High-strength molded case providing dust and moisture protection.
- Contact Assembly: Copper alloy contacts with excellent electrical conductivity and wear resistance.
- Thermal Trip Mechanism: Bimetallic thermal element, with trip current adjustable via set screws.
- Magnetic Trip Mechanism: Combination of electromagnetic coil and movable iron core for instantaneous short-circuit interruption.
- Terminal Blocks: 35 mm screw terminals supporting parallel connection of multiple wires.
- Operating Handle: Manual ON/OFF operation, equipped with indicator lights to show breaker status.
Typical Application Areas
- Industrial Distribution Cabinets: Provide overload and short-circuit protection for large loads such as motors, frequency converters, and pump stations.
- Building Automation: Cooperate with control systems like PLCs and frequency converters to achieve safe and reliable power distribution.
- Energy Facilities: Protection devices for the low-voltage side of generators and substations.
- Petrochemical Industry: Protect high-power electrical equipment, meeting explosion-proof and dust-proof requirements (when used with corresponding explosion-proof enclosures).
- Transportation Facilities: Power distribution systems for rail transit such as subways and light rail.
Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
- Pre-installation Inspection: Confirm that rated current and pole configuration match system requirements. Check for no enclosure damage and intact terminal block threads.
- Wiring: Use 35 mm screw terminals. Ensure wire stripping length complies with specifications. Tighten screws to the specified torque (approximately 1.5 Nm) to prevent poor contact due to loosening.
- Thermal Trip Setting: Adjust using the included set screws based on load rated current. Initial setting at 0.8 × rated current is recommended, followed by fine-tuning through on-site commissioning.
- Magnetic Trip Verification: Use a short-circuit tester to verify magnetic trip operation time (≤10 ms) at currents above 10 kA, ensuring compliance with technical documentation.
- Regular Inspection: Conduct visual inspection, terminal tightness check, and handle operation flexibility check every 12 months. Measure thermal trip resistance to confirm no aging.
- Replacement and Maintenance: The internal modular design allows direct on-site replacement of thermal trip or magnetic trip units without replacing the entire device. Re-setting and functional testing are required after replacement.
