6. Installation and Maintenance Guidelines

Installation Environment

• For indoor use only. Maintain good ventilation and avoid direct sunlight or high-temperature heat sources.
• The ambient temperature should be within the range of –40 °C ~ +85 °C, and the humidity should not exceed 95% (non-condensing).

Wiring Requirements

• Use cables compliant with IEC 60204‑1 standard. The cross-sectional area should meet the 80 A rated current (10 mm² copper core is recommended).
• Main and backup power input terminals must be marked separately to avoid wrong connection.
• Grounding terminals must be reliably grounded in accordance with local electrical codes.

Commissioning Steps

• Pre-power Inspection: Confirm that all wiring is firm, terminal identification is correct, and grounding is good.
• Functional Test: First perform a manual switch to confirm the indicator and output status. Then simulate main power failure to verify that the automatic switching time is ≤ 10 ms.
• Alarm Verification: Check whether overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage alarms are triggered normally and displayed on the upper computer or on-site indicators.

Daily Maintenance

• Every 6 months: Check the tightness of wiring terminals and remove dust and corrosion.
• Every year: Conduct a functional test, including manual/automatic switching, alarm function, and short-circuit capacity verification (using a dedicated tester).
• Log Records: Record all maintenance activities, faults, or component replacements for traceability.

Troubleshooting

• Indicators Not Lighting: Check power supply, wiring, and internal fuses.
• Switching Delay: Confirm whether the control signal line is normal and check if the internal microprocessor has entered an error state (diagnosable via the upper computer).
• Frequent Overcurrent Alarms: Verify if the load current exceeds the rated value or check if the cable cross-sectional area is insufficient.
