• Digital Controller Design: Adopts advanced digital control technology to realize precise, efficient and stable control functions, and supports diversified intelligent operation modes.
• Isolated Current Transformer: Equipped with a built-in single isolated current transformer, which can accurately measure generator current and ensure the accuracy and stability of current data acquisition.
• Diversified Communication Support: Compatible with multiple Ethernet LAN communication protocols. It supports GE OnSite diagnosis and monitoring functions, and can be connected to customer Distributed Control System (DCS) through Modbus Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) to realize remote data transmission and equipment monitoring.
• Optional Third CT Interface: Supports the configuration of a third CT interface, which realizes stable connection between the EX2100e static excitation controller and the customer’s generator, expanding the system’s current detection and control capabilities.

4. Structure and Composition

• ESYS Interface Board Connection Module: The ECTX board is mounted and connected to the EX2100e System Interface Board (ESYS) in the form of a sub-board, operating as an extended functional module of the ESYS system to cooperate with the main board to complete excitation control work.
• Built-in Isolated Current Transformer: A high-precision isolated current transformer is integrated inside the board, which is the core component for collecting and measuring generator operating current, ensuring real-time and accurate current signal acquisition.
• Multi-channel CT Interface: When the system is equipped with three current transformers, the ECTX board can provide matching interfaces to realize synchronous connection and signal transmission of all transformers, meeting multi-point current detection requirements.
• Plug-in Connector: Equipped with dedicated plug-in connectors compatible with ESYS boards, realizing fast, stable and firm hardware connection, avoiding loose contact and ensuring system communication stability.

6. Installation, Maintenance and Storage

6.1 Installation Precautions

• All installation operations shall be implemented in accordance with the official operation manual GEI-100775 to ensure standardized construction.
• The user manual GEH-6781 can be referenced for auxiliary guidance during installation and commissioning.
• The board can be directly installed on the ESYS board to expand the system with a third-channel CT input function.

6.2 Maintenance and Storage Specifications

• Although the product has high operational reliability, improper handling, transportation and long-term irregular storage may affect its electrical performance and service life.
• It is recommended to store the board in a professional electrostatic-sensitive storage box and keep it in a dry, constant-temperature and dust-free environment in accordance with the specified storage conditions.
• Carry out regular inspection on equipment connection status, line firmness and communication functions to eliminate potential faults in advance.
• Use professional diagnosis tools such as GE OnSite to conduct regular equipment monitoring, fault detection and performance debugging to ensure long-term stable operation of the system.
