5. Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
Installation
- Inspect Packaging: Confirm no external damage and all accessories are complete (host, bracket, junction box, user manual).
- Fix the Base: Choose wall-mounted, cabinet-mounted, or panel-mounted installation based on on-site needs. Use the bolts and washers provided in the box to ensure reliable connection between the metal base and the building’s grounding system.
- Power Wiring: Use multi-core insulated copper wires with a 6.3A rating. Short-circuit the ground wire and neutral wire to ensure grounding resistance ≤ 5Ω.
- Signal Wire Routing: All external signal wires (shielded wires, RS-232, Ethernet) adopt single-ended grounding, with shielded wires connected to the shielding bars on both sides of the cabinet.
- First Power-On: Ground first before powering on. Observe if the indicator lights work normally and check if the display starts up properly.
Daily Maintenance
- Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of neutral detergent. Avoid alcohol or strong acid-alkali solutions.
- Grounding Inspection: Regularly measure the grounding resistance with a multimeter to ensure it is ≤ 1Ω.
- Firmware Upgrade: Check and update BIOS and drivers via XYCOM OpenHMI software to maintain compatibility and security.
- Component Replacement: In case of failure of the display module, touch layer, or power supply module, they can be directly disassembled and replaced without replacing the entire unit.
- Environmental Monitoring: Maintain the operating environment temperature and humidity within the specified range to prevent poor heat dissipation caused by dust accumulation.
