The XYCOM 9475 series is a digital output module designed for industrial on-site safety and control. Compliant with IECEx/ATEX explosion-proof standards, it can be used in Zone 1, Zone 2, and other safety-classified areas. Available in 4-channel or 8-channel configurations, the module supports Ex i (intrinsically safe) outputs and features a “Plant STOP” function, enabling rapid shutdown of load power during emergency stops.

- Plugging/unplugging: The module supports hot-swapping; align with the card slot and press gently until fully seated.
- Inspection: After installation, check the integrity of indicators and gaskets to ensure the protection class is not compromised.
- Regular maintenance: Inspect terminal tightness and internal heatsink dust accumulation every 6 months, and clean if necessary.
- Troubleshooting: Read the module’s self-test status via PLC/HMI. For Ex i output abnormalities, first check the power supply and wiring, then replace the relay of the corresponding channel.
